Cycle, symptom, mood, and diary information can be sensitive. Please read how the app stores and shares each kind of information before using it.
Information you provide
When you create an account, we process your email address and login credentials through our authentication provider. You can add a nickname, zodiac sign, sharing preference, and profile photo. If you use the cycle and diary features, the app stores the dates, period flow, symptoms, mood, wellbeing, and text you enter. Bloom Circle can process invitations, chosen daily vibes and notes, short support messages, blocks, and reports you submit.
What stays on your phone and what syncs
Diary entries and cycle logs are stored on your device, separated by signed-in account. For accounts with Premium access, the app also syncs diary entries and cycle logs to our account database so they can be retrieved with that account. Account profiles and Bloom Circle records are stored in our account database. Some app preferences and drafts remain on the device. Deleting the app removes device-only data from that device; removing the app does not by itself delete your online account.
How we use information
We use this information to sign you in, save the features you choose to use, display cycle history and reflections, connect your invited Bloom Circle, handle safety reports and blocks, help with support requests, and maintain and secure the service. Cycle predictions and reflections are estimates based on the data you enter.
Sharing you control
Your diary entries and cycle logs are not published to your Bloom Circle. A bestie you connect with can see a daily vibe and optional note that you choose to share, along with the display name or fallback label shown by the app. A person you send a support message to can see that message. Reporting a user or update sends report details to us for safety review. Avoid including personal details in a shared note that you would not want that bestie to read.
Service providers, disclosures, and external links
We use Supabase for account authentication and synced data hosting. We share personal information with service providers only as needed to operate, secure, and support MyLunaCircle, and we require those providers to protect personal information consistently with this policy and applicable law. If paid app features become available through Apple, Apple processes App Store purchases under its own policies. We do not sell personal information, cycle information, or diary entries, and we do not use them for targeted advertising.
The app may open outside shopping or informational sites when you choose a link. Those services operate under their own privacy terms. This website has no account signup, advertising tracker, or newsletter form; its hosting and security services may process ordinary access information such as IP address, browser information, request details, and timestamps.
Retention and deletion
Account and synced feature information is generally retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the feature you selected. Safety reports may be retained as reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, protect users, and meet legal obligations. To delete your online account, open the app’s Profile or Account page and choose Delete Account. The app requests deletion of your authentication account and related synced records. Data stored only on your phone can be removed by deleting the app.
Deletion may not erase information another person already received or saved, records that must be retained for security or legal reasons, or temporary backup copies that remain until they are overwritten through normal backup rotation. We restrict any retained information to the purpose requiring its retention. If account deletion fails, contact support.
Security and Face ID
We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards for synced account data. Face ID or device authentication, when enabled, protects access on your phone. The authentication check is performed by your device. MyLunaCircle does not receive, collect, or store your facial image, Face ID template, or other biometric information. No internet service or device storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, we will notify affected users and authorities as required.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can change information you enter, stop entering optional information, change sharing preferences, remove a bestie, block a user, and delete your account through the app. You may withdraw consent for future optional collection or sharing by stopping that feature or contacting us. Withdrawing information required for a feature may prevent that feature from working. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information associated with your account. Email support@mylunacircle.com; we may verify that you control the account before completing a request.
Children and policy changes
MyLunaCircle is not intended for, and may not be used by, children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that an under-13 user created an account, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and associated information. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information may contact us.
We may update this policy as the app, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised text and effective date here and, when appropriate, provide an additional notice in the app before a material change takes effect.
